About the Vortex Clutches
Vortex Clutches Are Modern
Vortex clutch patents were issued in 2001 and 2003. Every other disc clutch in kart racing uses a design from the last millennium - 1978! VORTEX CUTCHES ARE UNIQUE
- Exhibit hard "pull" instead of hard "hit".
- The only disc clutch with springs attached directly to the levers.
- The only disc clutch without a pressure plate.
- Rebuilds are inexpensive and simple.

- Vortex clutch springs are adjusted quickly, easily and precisely without dial calipers.
- Air gap is not an issue with the Vortex clutch, reducing the amount of adjustments.
- The clutch can be rebuilt in a matter of minutes using only a T-handle wrench.
